These are #2 grade long ostrich feathers 16-19 inches. These feathers are not damaged or broken but are ones which do not qualify as #1.

Fibers may thinner or less wide than is most desirable. #2 grade feathers may have minor flaws like excess stress marks or a small "bite" but this grade is a great value for layering and overlapped designs where the individual feather is not closely noted. Common uses for economical #2 grade are for theater productions, fans, costumes, headdresses, vase arrangements for home and event decor, wedding decoration, and themed party decoration.
