These are #2 grade long black ostrich feathers. These feathers are not damaged or broken but are ones which do not qualify as #1. Fibers may be thinner, less wide or have more stress marks than is most desirable. Smaller bites permitted. But this grade is a great value for layering and overlapped designs where the individual feather is not closely noted. Common uses for #2 grade are for theater productions, fans, costumes, headdresses, vase arrangements for home and event decor, wedding decoration, and themed party decoration.
