These are #2 grade (seconds) ostrich feathers. These feathers are ones which do not quite qualify as #1 premium. Fibers may be thinner and/or less wide than is most desirable. It may have more stress marks or small "bites" here and there. No damaged feathers, broken tops, broken stems, or large bites. But this grade is a great value for layering and overlapped designs where the individual feather is not closely noted. Common uses for #2 grade are for theater productions, fans, costumes, headdresses, vase arrangements for home and event decor, wedding decoration, and themed party decoration.
