This strung (double stitched) rooster saddle feathers is dyed over natural white. Saddle hackle feathers are thin stemmed and very flexible with a lot of movement. Lots of fluff at the base of each feather and the feathers rise to a narrow tip. The material is densely sewn with over 150 feathers per half ounce. The feathers measure 5-7 inches in length. An halfounce of this material measures about 6-7 inches (20 cm) along the linear (sewn) end.
