Olive Rooster Hackle Feathers Strung 4-5 Inch per ounce (28 grams)

Olive Rooster Hackle Feathers densely sewn together and easy to apply as is with numerous applications in fashion, costume design, crafts, dance outfits, masks, Carnival and Tahitian dance costumes. Called schlappen this is a type of rooster feather located at the base of the tail. The feathers are soft and flexible but wider and denser than saddle. Excellent fly tying hackle for steelhead, salmon and other flies where a soft, webby hackle feather is desirable The stem is thinner than coque. This type of rooster feather is a Natural White dyed into a vibrant color. Feathers are 4-5 inches in length and one ounce is about 18 inches strung length. At least 200 feathers per ounce

Lamplight Feathers offers high quality feathers at a reasonable price. I have been buying from this company for several years and have not dissappointed. This last order, however, shipped short on product. I called to let them know nod right away they shipped the missing product. I think I will continue buying from them.
