DYED GOLD over White COQUE rooster tail feathers 7-10 inches in length. White feathers produce the most vibrant colors when dyed but are becoming difficult to find and expensive in the longer sizes. The stems are longer and stiffer than the similar schlappen. These feathers are STRUNG or sewn. They can be applied as is or taken apart and used individually. Coque feathers have many decorative applications. Common uses include crafts, costume trim, masks, dance and Carnival headdresses and Tahitian dance costumes. The prices is per hundred feathers which is about one foot (30 cm) of sewn together feathers measured along the sewn end.
